Jamie Drouin (Canadian, b. 1970) is a multidisciplinary artist, composer, and experimental music improviser. His works often examine the modifications to landcapes through historical cultural and industrial use, and the unintentional sculptural forms that are left behind.

Drouin’s collaborative projects have included prominent artists such as David Sylvian, Lucio Capece, Johnny Chang, John Tilbury, and Karl Kliem, as well as the multi-decade artistic partnership with fellow Canadian artist and musician Lance Austin Olsen.

His work has appeared at international symposiums such as the Biennial of the Americas, Mutek, and TodaysArt, and solo exhibitions in Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, and Kazakhstan. Recorded works have been published by Another Timbre, Intonema, and Mikroton, among several others over the past two decades. Drouin has been the recipient of grants from both the Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council.

Jamie Drouin lives with his wife in British Columbia, Canada, and his work in experimental sound composition is represented by infrequency.
