
Jamie Drouin (b. 1970) is a Canadian artist who examines the historical evolution of land use and shifting attitudes towards nature through urban sprawl and industrialization.
Drouin’s work has appeared at international symposiums such as the Biennial of the Americas, Mutek, and TodaysArt, and solo exhibitions in Japan, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, and Kazakhstan. He has been the recipient of grants from both the Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council.
Collaborative projects have included artists such as Lance Austin Olsen, Lucio Capece, John Tilbury, and David Sylvian.
Drouin lives with his wife in British Columbia, Canada, and his parallel work in experimental sound composition is represented by infrequency.
